The Goldenhearts Tour Captures Hearts - December 16, 2009
The Goldenhearts and I recently traveled from LA, CA, to Reno, NV, stopping and performing along the way at various schools, clubs and bikeshop/bars. We like The Silverlake lounge and played with some great bands. Thanks Nancy. We will fondly remember Davidson's Distillery, self proclaimed biker bar with it's stripper pole and vending machine that sells cigarettes, spark plugs and 30 weight motor Oil. Dave was kind enough to give the band a tour of his bike shop. (Thanks for the pics Bridget!) We also crashed Linda Perry's Hollywood recording studio. We were welcomed in and shared music, coffee and talked about Egypt, aliens and other sensical-nonsense...we also toured the most beautiful recording studio that I have ever seen. Amen.
Also, thanks to our So Cal friends that turned out for the shows. Salute! We hope to see you at more shows as the music gets bigger and better!
